Letters from Armorica will return next week; the next arc takes place in Maximilian’s home of Nexing Cross, which I haven’t revisited since Amelia’s previous visit. I haven’t a clue what’s going to happen to her there, except that it will grow out of Maximilian’s family and their neighbors…and so I spent my writing time today re-acquainting myself with the Archers, the Myrtlewoods, and other folk I had utterly forgotten.

Some folks have asked if I’m going to assemble these letters into a book; I intend to at some point, but it is an enormous project, due to the vast number of characters, places, and incidents. Continuity management is hard! Consequently, I’ve been creating a sort of personal wiki of all these things using [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md), which is my single favorite application these days. It goes slowly, and I’ve got a lot of material to cover; and I hadn’t gotten to Nexing Cross yet. Today I jumped forward and made all of my notes and connections; and next week, after the characters have had a chance to boil and bubble in my back-brain I should be able to do some good work.
