Over time, I’ve written the following series of posts. Click on one of the links below to read them in order. (For information about my books, see the Books page.)

Letters from Armorica: For the past several years I’ve been writing a weekly serial entitled, “Letters from Armorica.” It’s a fantasy series concerning a young man named Armand who travels to a far colony seeking his fortune, and writes letters home talking about his experiences. It was originally inspired by Garrison Keillor’s News from Lake Wobegon, and also by the Welcome to Nightvale podcast, but in the end doesn’t particulary resemble either one.  The easiest way to get started with “Letters from Armorica” is to start at the First Letter; each letter ends with a link to the next letter. Most are from Armand to various people; a few are responses.

Last August I started a new sequence of letters, to Armand from his Cousin Amelia back home.  Amelia is a young woman who is living at her family’s country home after jilting a prominent member of society by pushing him into a duck pond. You can find the start of that sequence here.
